We are rediscovering the history, qualities, ecology, and cultures of the Watershed. We share these through stories, journeys, and experiences. In doing so, we strengthen our relationship with her. We see the Watershed as a living landscape—one we are learning to care for again, so that she can continue to care for us in the future.
Actions
Cultural expression and stories of the watershed
Together with, among others, De Waterlanders, Living Cultures, graphic designer Annick Gaarthuis, and De Barbaar, we translate old and new stories from the Watershed into theatre, podcasts, and other creative forms. For this work, we also collaborate with the historical associations in the Watershed.
The Tasty South Veluwe: recreation and tourism
Together with the Regio Foodvalley, Nature and Environment Gelderland, and Erkend Veluws Streekproduct, we are developing a program for experiences in the cultural landscape of the Watershed, including cycling routes and regional meals.
Exploration journeys in the watershed for all ages
Together with het parlement der aardbewoners, De Barbaar, and Vuori Projecten, we develop educational projects for children and connect nature education with the Watershed.
